About Justin Puddick Upholstery
Our History
Having learnt from my father, who in turn learnt from his father, I am carrying on a true family business with quality work done the old fashioned way. We still use coil springs, hand stitched-up sprung edges and deep diamond buttoning work and I am proud to say that the quality shows.
Our Approach to Quality
We make hand-crafted custom made sofas, bedheads, armchairs, ottomans, footstalls and dining chairs and also restore your much loved but worn-out pieces.

With quality upholstery it is often what is underneath the fabric that counts. Our approach is the same whether we are making a new piece of furniture or restoring an old one. We use new springs and traditional products such as hessian, coconut fibre and cotton wadding. For reupholstery we use whatever is required to bring your piece back to life - even adding extra feather down to old cushions or supplying brand new ones.

All of this unseen work is what makes a piece of furniture comfortable and long lasting and it is this quality of craftsmanship and use of traditional methods which separates quality upholsterers from the rest.
We Love Visitors

We are moving to a huge industrial wharehouse at 12/30 Perry Street, Matraville from 18th February 2015, here we would be happy to talk through the upholstery project that you have in mind and discuss the amazing array of options available.
